Founded by experienced Planview consultants Andrew Cardrick and Shane Braiden, Synerg-X combines deep product knowledge with extensive experience in portfolio management, solution architecture, implementation, reporting, integration and business change. Together, they have spent decades helping organisations turn complex business requirements into practical solutions that deliver lasting value.
Our work extends across the full lifecycle of a Planview investment - from initial solution design and implementation through to optimisation, reporting, data migration, integration, automation and ongoing operational support.

Shane Braiden
Shane is a highly experienced Planview Solution Architect, Implementation Consultant and Reporting Specialist with more than 25 years of experience helping organisations transform the way they plan, deliver and govern change.
For over two decades, Shane has specialised in the implementation and optimisation of Planview Portfolios, working with organisations to design enterprise portfolio management solutions that improve governance, streamline delivery processes and provide meaningful executive insight. His expertise spans solution architecture, implementation, system configuration, workflow design, data migration, integrations, reporting and operational support.
A key strength is translating complex business requirements into practical, scalable solutions that are both technically robust and intuitive for end users. Shane works closely with business stakeholders, PMOs and executive teams to ensure Planview becomes a strategic decision-making platform rather than simply a project management tool.
Alongside his implementation expertise, Shane is an accomplished reporting specialist with extensive experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI and enterprise data analytics. He has designed and delivered executive dashboards, operational reporting solutions and portfolio analytics that enable organisations to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Driven by a passion for simplifying complex administration, Shane is also a co-creator of FoliosFlow—an automation platform designed specifically for Planview Portfolios. FoliosFlow enables organisations to automate repetitive administrative tasks, improve data quality, reduce manual effort and free PMOs to focus on higher-value activities. The solution reflects Shane's belief that technology should empower people by removing routine administration while ensuring complete, accurate and consistent enterprise data.
Throughout his career, Shane has worked across a diverse range of industries including banking, insurance, reinsurance, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, utilities and financial services. His customers include many of Europe's leading organisations, where he is recognised for combining deep technical knowledge with a pragmatic, collaborative approach to delivery.

Andrew Cardrick
Andrew is a highly experienced Planview Solution Architect, Implementation Consultant and Product Solution Engineer with more than 30 years of experience designing and delivering enterprise business solutions.
For over two decades, Andrew has specialised in Planview Portfolios, helping organisations translate complex portfolio, programme and project management requirements into practical, scalable solutions. His expertise spans business analysis, solution architecture, implementation, system configuration, data migration, integrations, process improvement, training and operational support.
Before co-founding Synerg-X, Andrew spent five years with Planview as a Principal Consultant, delivering implementations for organisations including BP, Credit Suisse, Mars, Vodafone, JPMorgan Chase, AstraZeneca, Carphone Warehouse, Citibank, RBS and Exel Logistics. This experience gave him a deep understanding not only of the Planview platform, but also of the organisational and operational changes required to make enterprise portfolio management successful.
Andrew previously worked in investment banking with NatWest Markets, Greenwich NatWest and Goldman Sachs, holding roles including Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Development Manager and Technical Architect. This combination of business, financial and technical experience enables him to work effectively with everyone from delivery teams and system administrators to PMO leaders and senior executives.
A key strength is Andrew’s ability to understand how organisations really operate and turn that knowledge into solutions that people can use and support. He is particularly focused on simplifying complex processes, improving data quality and reducing the manual effort involved in maintaining enterprise systems.
Andrew is also a co-creator of FoliosFlow, an automation and integration platform developed specifically for Planview Portfolios. FoliosFlow helps organisations automate high-volume administration, migration and integration processes while retaining control, transparency and auditability. Andrew continues to shape its development alongside a wider family of Flow solutions designed to connect enterprise platforms and support governed, repeatable data workflows.
